Wrong on so many levels.

I think you're really missing the mark on some of these:

-Don't know many high achieving AGDs (all theirs have graduated now) or AOPis
-New row doesn't have a "top five", there is a huge distance between ADPi/PBP and AOPi, they can't be lumped together like that.
-ADPi should replace XO on the best OOS list, XO is so picky about where their girls come from and rely on connections so much more

1. This seems like an AOPi self ranker. Because NO ONE would say AOPi is one of the top 5 achievers lmao. For Old Row, AXO, XO, and PM are all big achievers. For New Row, ADPi, DG, and KAT are all big achievers. Same with top of New Row... AOPi... Really? Stop reaching.

2. DDD is not considered top 5 of Old Row. Replace them with PM.

3. DDD and ADPi are not top 5 best rushers. Replace them with PM and maybe PBP.


This entire list is SUBJECTIVE. Obviously, not everyone feels the same about ranks and what houses are "top." For example, whoever put AOPi top in various categories prefers that house over others... While I, and others, don't feel the same. THIS is why ranks don't matter. You can spend days making lists like this, but they're all useless because it varies significantly form person to person.

I just want to clarify that AOPi has ONE capstone woman and she was also the hoco queen. You can't use one person to try and create a whole image for your house. Not trying to hate on AOPi, they are super sweet, but y'all are not known for being involved and it's really annoying that you're acting like you have all these prestigious capstone women when that's a blatant exaggeration

It what universe is DDD better than PM. I mean DDD's "vibe" is absolutely more my thing but there's no disputing PM is a better overall lol

I don't doubt ADPi had a good rush, it seems like they're definitely trending upward and all the ADPis I know are really fun... But one good rush doesn't make them a top house.

Also, I don't understand how AOPi won those awards... I feel like Panhellenic or whoever tries to be as unbiased as possible when giving out awards... Or it could have been influenced by the Machine considering the Machine backed a HoCo queen from AOPi... Idk but there are a lot of more hard working houses than AOPi imo.

Hi I'm actually in a house that's usually ranked one of the bottom on this site... I just want to say you're SO wrong. I know I obviously have an emotional attachment to my house, so I know what I'm going to say is going to sound biased, but... Every house here is good, even the "bottom" five. I rushed because I wanted a community of girls who would support me not matter. And that's exactly what I found. My sisters care about one another so much and encourage everyone to be their best selves... And I know A LOT of other houses can't say that.

I think every house has their good and their bad and it bothers me so much to see other girls in this Greek community putting each other down just because of superficial ranks. The truth is, ranks mean nothing beyond this site. Every girl in my house loves the sorority, regardless of ranks. "But can't get over the rank enough to enjoy it" - LOL okay, stop reaching... There are thousands of girls in these "bottom" five houses that love their houses and have enjoy their sorority careers.

Stop being so negative. Thousands of girls have found their homes in these houses because they didn't care about ranks and they stayed true to their inner feelings.

I am in a bottom house and I DON'T think you're wrong. Status matters for a lot of people. Yeah, it's absolutely hard to get over the rank of my house sometimes. Every time someone says, "wait... you're actually an ABC?" all those post bid day feelings of disappointment come back (and my bid day was three years ago). Do I like my house? Yeah, it's fine. But it's hard being in a bottom tier house as someone who is a "top tier person" on paper.

if ranks matter this much to you then you have deeper issues. i know girls in top tier houses who are unhappy, i know girls in middle tier houses who are unhappy, and i know girls in bottom tier houses who are unhappy... my point is, the grass isn't always greener on the other side. a lot of these top houses are just fluff, there's nothing substantial behind them... the grass is green where you water it.


pnms - pls go into rush with an open mind. if you hold yourself back because of ranks then you're going to be unhappy regard of whatever tier you end up in. this site loves to make people feel insecure about what they like. pledge the house that you love, not the house thats loved the most.

I'm in a bottom house too and no I don't have deeper issues. It really sucks to have guys say "you're way to pretty/cool to be in ABC" or girls be like "oh you should be in our house instead" both those things happen way too often and it hurts. Glad you have a thicker skin than me but to me it still hurts to hear those things. I agree with what the first comment here said.

There are actually a lot of girls, including me, in these 5 sororities who are from the south and move back home after graduation.. and you can do a LOT worse than Huntsville. As a southern member of a bottom house this is something that constantly makes me feel like an outsider-- northern sisters constantly commenting on the south and how much better their hometowns are. You came here remember?

Hey don't go knocking hvegas. It's on the rise. Fastest growing area and strong income growth with great employers, especially for engineering and stem grads. Where do chilled and north ala girls mostly go anyway? I hear agd and pm.
