I did very well in high school 3.75 Gpa & weighted 4.2! Next year I will be in the honors college & on a scholarship where I must have AT least a 3.3. How difficult is it to do this??? Did any of you struggle?? I'm just scared because I don't want to lose my scholarship and have to transfer

No offense but this is not the proper forum for that kind of question. High school success does not always lead to success in college. Major has a lot to do with gpa. Engineering super difficult. Communications not so much. If your question is can a maintain a high gpa and be Greek the answer is yes you can as long as you have your priorities straight and manage your time.

I like this question because it seems legit, and is not a trolling rank or a bashing of a house. I don't know what this forum is proper for, but whatever the company that created it had in mind they wanted to stir up controversy and make it about gossip. But they want to generate clicks and don't care about anything else. Honestly, we do greekrank a favor by using this board for productive purposes, such as educating pnms about the process and helping prepare them for college life. Just my two cents.

In general, I think you really need to prioritize your grades. I just finished my freshman year and I REALLY regret not being more focused on school... It's not that I partied like crazy, I just got lazy with my schoolwork, going to class, studying, etc. And now I'm on academic probation with my sorority and had I been given a scholarship I would've lost it.

Tips:
- Grades are forever. That boy texting you to come over or your sisters asking you to go to the bars? They'll always be around, but you can only take a test once.
- Do your assignments as soon as you can, and whenever you have free time, do assignments that are open but aren't due for a while! This way you won't be scrambling last minute to finish stuff and you can actually go out and stuff.
- Don't be afraid to ask your house for help. Every house has well qualified girls on the scholarship board as well as tutors... Chances are if you're struggling with something then an upperclassmen also struggled with it and can help you.
- BALANCE. If you go out a Saturday night, study Sunday evening... Don't just lay in bed watching Netflix because you're hungover or whatever.
