rankings from 20 years ago. stand the test of time

Curious alum here. Here's what the ranks were when I graduated back in 1997. Has much changed in 20 years?
1. KKG, XO, KD
2. PM, AXO, DDD
3. AGD, PBP, ZTA
4. AOPi, ADPi, KAT
5. DZ, GPB

AGD has always been a good sorority but sorry, you were never considered top 3 historically. KD and Kappa and Tri Delt were the three old ones.
Next came chi and AGD. Agd was always a runner up.
AXO got hot in the 80s and never looked back. All remain top sororities with alpha chi and chi o having the strongest runs of the last 15 years.
This was written by an agd bc that just wasn't the case. Then or now. Very Good sorority, but never on top.
And who cares anyway lol.

@Curious when I was at UA (1986) the sorority ranks were about the same. I'm on here because my niece will be a freshman in the fall. I have some other family members who've been at the university lately and I've definitely seen a switch between OR and NR. And definitely within OR. Sad but true the KDs and Kappas are declining and was blown away to see the PMus and AXOs take lead. While, always decent, neither of those two were ever top back in the day...

Let me assure you that outside of old MB, kd and kkg are filled with middle class girls who's parents are In Debt over their wardrobes and who think that being in these sororities gives them class. Class is earned by action and kindness.

Fifty+ years ago, First Circle (KD, DDD, AGD) was like PKT at Texas -- those were the top three. Alpha Gam used to compete with KD and DDD for the top old-money types, but over the years, Kappa and XO took their place and they slid to the bottom of Old Row. If anything, they've rebounded over the past decade or so while KD has basically taken their place at the bottom.
AXO and Phi Mu moved up after zip codes stopped being the most important factor in determining the top houses. Years ago, the rest of Old Row considered them "tacky new money."
ADPi has moved up the most. Before they got their new house, most folks here ranked them with Theta, DZ, and Gamma Phi. AOPi has definitely fallen the most.
