question for old bama greeks
by: Just wondering
Saw this question on another school's board and thought it was interesting:
How much, if at all, have the tiers/rankings changed since, say, the '60s and '70s? I've heard, for example, that AXO and Phi Mu have been Old Row only since the early '90s, Kappa Sig used to be Old Row, ATO used to be affiliated, and Phi Delt used to be way better than it is now.

Phi Delt was a middling house, had a wild time. ATO was middling, not be to messed with. kappa Sig was a strong house, many good students there. It was about DKE(INCREDIBLY conceited, arrogant rearends),SAE(crazy as hell, football players too) and KA(good fraternity but like ATO didn't fight 'em). Phi Gam was a class house. Sigma Nu was a good house. Sigma Chi had too many sissies. Pike was alright with many out staters and northern guys. Sig Eps were a solid house. I still stay in touch with some pledge brothers to this day. Enjoy it, boys. You're there and you're gone.

Whether you are Old Row or New Row never changes. It is the historical location of the fraternity house and the age of the chapter. The Old Row house lined University Blvd. They are the oldest fraternities at the University.
Sororities are not old or new row. Sometime in the 90's sororities joined with fraternities to have an Old Row party. That does not make them Old Row.

by: You'll be sad
to see what has become of your Phi Delts.
They are twisted whereas the other Old Row except DKE can best be described as sad.
DKE is still INCREDIBLY conceited wo you would recognize them.
