There is no way to say this specifically but, without being trying to be mean, I will start:


Alpha Gam- looks for Mountain brook types, some seek out alpha gam, some fall to it bc cut by other MB centered ones. Girls here make good grades generally and present themselves as religious. Some are very wild and hypocritical, but others are genuine and kind. Mixed bag. Overcrowded house.


Alpha Chi-- seeks out achievers and isn't as focused on in state. Just wants the top girls period. Gets a lot of legacies from other OR who don't want to party as much. Has some bookworms (not a bad thing) , some heavy partiers, and some down the middle. Less hypocritical than alpha gam but there are still some who are over the top. They seem happy.

ADPi- rising sorority with a great sisterhood, meaning they like to hang out together and seem happy. With some (including above) they live and hang with others, but adpi really hangs with adpi. They impressed a lot in rush with good planning and were fun.

Aopi- smart girls, more from OOS than in state. They have kind of a laid back rush that appeals to some and isn't enough for others. Girls are out together generally and get a bad rap on here but are actually very well thought of. They have a lot of girls from Alabama, but more OOS. Getting a new house next year that will be awesome. Some party, some study.

Lots of achievers. They want OR types but then take OOS too. Have been doing great the last few years! Highly competitive and out to take the crown. A lot of legacies go elsewhere and a lot of legacies from other places come here. Some athletic types mixed in. Chi O is a very good chapter here.

Useless commercials

AXO - Very smart, involved girls. Rush primarily based on merit. Decent mix of instate/Souther and OOS girls. Also a decent mix of bookworms who don't party and girls who do party. Lots of religious girls, I've heard they have a good sisterhood.
AGD - Also smart, involved girls. Tend to focus on certain areas within AL. Definitely more instate/Southern than OOS girls. Pretty lowkey on campus, you never hear too much about them, aren't too prominent on the social scene. Lots of religious girls, I've heard they have a divided house/sisterhood.
DDD - Also tend to focus on certain areas within AL. Bigger mix of instate/Southern and OOS girls. Not too much to say, similar to AGD in the sense that they're very lowkey and not too prominent on campus, I've heard they have a divided house/sisterhood.
KD - First sorority on campus and very deep rooted with tradition. Majority of girls they pledge come from certain areas within AL, in house connections are very important. Not too involved on campus, big partiers, I've heard they have a divided house/sisterhood.
KKG - Also very in tuned to tradition. They have more instate girls than OOS but they're opening up. Not much to say tbh, I've heard they have a somewhat divided house, sisterhood is ?
PM - One of the more appearance conscious houses. Similar to AXO in the sense that they look for girls who are involved, smart, etc but PM tends to pick up the more attractive girls. Decent mix of instate/OOS, divided house/sisterhood.

XO - Known as the lesser version of AXO. Very studious, involved house, but more social than AXO. More instate than OOS, I've heard they have a good sisterhood.

ADPi - Very smart, involved girls. Decent mix of instate/Southern and OOS girls. I've heard they have a good sisterhood.
AOPi - More relaxed, chill girls. Not the type to go too crazy over competitions or during rush. More independent girls, i've heard they have a decent sisterhood. More OOS girls.
APhi - Another appearance conscious house. They take the most grade risks, aren't too involved, and they have the lowest GPA on campus. More OOS girls, very iffy sisterhood.
DG - Smart, involved girls. Very into philanthropy stuff. More OOS girls, good sisterhood.
DZ - Not too much to say. They aren't really known for anything, they tend to take whatever girls they have left? Idk, iffy sisterhood, more grade risks.
GPB - Independent girls. Tend to keep to themselves and hangout with one another, iffy sisterhood, more OOS.
KAT - Very smart, involved girls. More OOS girls, good sisterhood.
PBP - Some smart girls, more social. Like ZTA but they don't take as many grade risks and are more academically focused. More OOS girls, decent sisterhood.
ZTA - Another appearance conscious house. Sort of a better version of APhi, but still not too involved, and also have one of the lowest GPAs. More OOS, iffy sisterhood.

ADPi- sweet girls, pretty girl-next-door type. Usually pretty involved and have good grades. You don't always hear about them a ton but generally a well-liked and well-respected house.
AOPi- nice girls, usually kind of bland.
Alpha Phi- focus a lot on looks and not so much in grades or involvement. Usually girls who were pretty, popular party girls in high school from the west coast or northeast.
DG- becoming more relevant and popular on campus. Nice girls that work hard and have decent grades and involvement.
DZ- More of a mixed bag of girls. I feel like they kind of do their own thing because I don't really ever see them around
GPhi- one of the more laid back houses. Similar to DG in the fact that it seems like they've worked hard to try and be more relevant on campus.
Pi Phi- fun girls who still put a decent amount of effort into their grades and involvement. Honestly feel like they've been less relevant on campus without a house so I'll be excited for them to finish construction
Theta- quieter, kind of nerdy girls. Usually have great grades and involvement and seem to have a good sisterhood.
Zeta- pretty party girls, basically just a more popular version of alpha phi
