If you're super short and petite it's probably fine, but a lot of their stuff is definitely too short or too casual

It's fine if it helps show your tattoos more.

Not gonna lie, I had never heard of that brand, so I went to look them up. Sweet Jesus in a golden diaper, those aren't my grandmother's Mumus.

Will my tongue ring be a problem? What about the chain that runs from my ear to my tongue ring?

Well that wasn't meant for where it ended up. Oops.

I keep hearing and reading that PNMs need casual dresses for the first two days. Would Mumu still be too casual for those days if the dress wasn't too short? How short is too short? Where should the hem hit on our legs?

TBH I'm not a huge Mumu fan but I just jumped on their website and I feel that a handful of dresses would be absolutely fine for IWTs. I know most of their fabrics are very lightweight so that's a plus considering the AL heat, but I know that some dresses tend to be more see through... In general, obviously wear a slip under any dress that can be seen through if it hits the light.

The general rule of thumb is that dresses, for all days, should either hit or go slightly past your fingertips if your arms are to your sides. You can still look cute and fun without looking like a tramp. Also, no exposed shoulders, no open backs, and nothing too weird... Rush is not NY Fashion Week, meaning it's not the time to try out that new wacky dress you've been saving. I'd also suggest trying to find dresses with thicker straps than spaghetti straps... No doubt you'll see girls wearing dresses with spaghetti straps, but if you want to be safe, I'd say try to find something with a thick strap or something that covers your shoulders in general.

Hope this helped -

also, mumu is a pretty popular brand so you might be seeing a lot of girls wearing the same outfit as you. mumu is kind of becoming the lilly pulitzer of years past. i think the best option for any pnm is to shop at local boutiques... most of the time, boutiques have cute and trendy items that yet arent cookie cutter. id suggest to hit up any local boutiques and see if you can find anything you like that's also not something expected!

I'd say spaghetti straps are perfectly fine. i wore spaghetti straps during both IWTs and sisterhood and I only got dropped from 2 houses all week.
