What? AGD "incredibly close-knit sisterhood" and cares "more about sisterhood than anything else"? Who are you kidding. AGD is the house where there is documented and published proof that they decided to support a Phi Mu for Homecoming Queen because they were instructed to do so by The Machine and, in so doing, they actively promoted (banner across front of house) the Phi Mu candidate -- even though their own sister, and their first African American member -- was running for that same title? Care more about anything? What AGD obviously cared about was their first and foremost loyalty to The Machine. So don't even try to unring that bell.

Oh give it up! Agd was forced into that position, they would have been punished severely had they gone against the machine again and you dam well know it. You force them to back up into a corner where neither option will benefit their house, and then you ridicule them for doing making the choice you set before them. This complete lack of immaturity as displayed by the machine only adds proof to how dam pathetic the machine is. Rememeber that bully who peaked in high school? Unless you were his friend, he was big and scary up until graduation, until you realized he's a sad sack of insecurity and will never amount to anything successful. Thats the image the machine has been giving off. Their subordinates are realizing that the machine's protection is not worth their demands. The machine is starting to implode, at the hands of their own decisions. Thank goodness my house has enough self confidence to stay away from that failing institution, i'm just gonna sit back with some popcorn and enjoy the show.

If a bully was going after my sister I would hope that I and my other sisters would stand up to him. I can't imagine what Alpha Gam is going through now. The house is incredibly divided over the homecoming fiasco and I don't think things will ever be good again. My personal opinion is that anyone who thinks the machine is more important that their sister is not a house for me.

AGD was given an impossible choice. And whether you want to believe it or not, I think sisterhood was behind the decision they made. We all know that the Machine retaliates, and in a big way, so do they support 1 sister for a position as trivial as homecoming queen and have it negatively impact a lot of the younger girls that want to be a part of SGA and other organizations where machine support would make a difference? I am all for the machine becoming obsolete, but the way things are now, I think AGD put the needs of the majority of their sisters first. When does the needs of one sister become more important than everyone else in the house?

You are wrong! Things are changing! The more OOS people here, the more scrutiny the Greek system gets, system is going to change.
