How is pi phi at Alabama? What are the girls in it like? Haven't heard much yet and am curious if I should bother getting a rec

get a rec for all the houses. pi phi is decent here. not the best, but not bad.

you should "bother" getting AT LEAST one rec for EVERY chapter here unless you plan on being dropped from recruitment, because that attitude doesn't bode well for you. you don't pick them - they pick you.

What if we can get a Rec? Not intentionally trying to not get one but for a couple houses I can't find one! Will that hurt me?

Really try to find a rec yourself. That shows the sororities you're extremely serious about rushing. So ask friends' mothers, ask people you know at church (if you go), ask your mother to ask around at work as well, email local alumni chapters... Even post about it on Facebook. IF you still can't find anything, then don't bother with it anymore. If it's a sorority's national rule that every girl they bid must have a rec, then they'll get you a rec themselves. But don't worry!
