important dates

Are there any important dates/weekends that we will need to be in town when we join a sorority at UA? I live in nashville & love to go to concerts & music festivals and I want to go ahead and buy tickets to some events but I don't want them to interfere with sorority events on the weekends! Approximate dates of initiation, big/little reveal and any other important events would be helpful! I realize that it's probably different for every sorority but approximate dates would be SO helpful!! Thanks!

Varies by house. You know we have concerts and events inTuscaloosa, right? You're not going to want to spend your weekends driving back to Nashville.

To be safe just plan to be here until Thanksgiving. You wont want to miss any home games and on top normal sorority stuff you will be pledging.

the biggest thing first semester is probably going to be big/little reveal, initiation, and homecoming week.

obviously big/little week and initiation dates depend on the specific house but you'll get a full calendar of all important dates for the semester once you pledge.

I mean, if you wanted to spend so much time there, you shouldn't have picked an out of state college. Going back and forth between nashville and tuscaloosa all the time doesn't make sense at all. People don't do that.

Don't buy any tickets. You'll just end up having to sell them.
