blacks during rush?

Hey, I'm black and I was interested in getting involved in greek life. Is it harder to get into a house at Alabama if you're a black male?

It will be hard and some will not take you because you are black, but there definitely are certain houses that would be more than happy to have you in there. If you're cool and go to some rush events there will certainly be houses that would give you a bid.

If you are trying to get into a strong IFC backed fraternity it will be extremely difficult. However, there are primarily African American frats here. I believe one is Alpha Phi Alpha or something like that.
