DZ- When I told some of the girls in my Rho Chi group that they dropped me, they all wanted to know what I did to get rid of them because none of them could get them off of their schedule.
GPhi- Looking back sometimes I feel like I could've fit in here but the girls I talked to just could not keep a conversation. It wasn't until sisterhood that I liked them but they cut me.

aopi - i didn't like the vibe and i didn't like how boring it felt... all the girls were so relaxed for some reason and i feel like that caused slow conversations. i also didnt like how they were all wearing red dresses on the first day, i know thats stupid but i mean...
gphi - personally, i know how to have a very good conversation even with a stranger i have nothing in common with, however the girls i spoke to at gphi made it so hard to have a flowing conversation. also I'm from a very small area in a small northern state and they matched me with a girl from a town over, so i feel like they were pushing way too hard to put girls with similarities together.
dz - everything about the house just felt off. every time i went back i found myself having a longer list of why i didnt like the house as to why i liked it. i really don't know what it was that turned me off so much though, i feel like they were trying to be something they're not so maybe that.

It's weird that you didn't like a house because the girl who rushed you had something in common with you. Houses that were thoughtful and tried to make me feel at ease were my favorites. Just going to guess that you were influenced by tent talk about which houses were more popular.

It's because she already had her mind made up about them. I guarantee she didn't feel the same in the houses she liked (or better houses) who matched her up with girls with similarities.
In a lower tier house it's "trying too hard" but in a higher ranked house it's "omg we have so much in common I love them!"

I was the one who wrote the #2 comment and y'all need to back tf off. Idk why some of y'all are being so hostile... Oh it's probably because most PNMs hate your houses.
As I said, I'm from a very small town in a very small Northern state and yeah it was cool to meet an active in Gamma Phi that was just one town over from me... But the conversation itself was so dull. I would've preferred to have spoken to a girl from a place hundreds of miles away from my hometown that had similar interests as me so that we could've had a nice, flowing conversation. When the active told me what town she was from all I said was "oh wow, that's so close" and then switched the topic because who tf is going to talk about towns and the proximity to one another for ten minutes?
Also, I didn't end up pledging an upper tier house. All houses push the better aspects of their house, but personally AOPi didn't appeal to me. Personally, I felt the girls I spoke to felt uncomfortable bragging about this and that and it didnt seem genuine.
But either way, it's MY opinion, MY experience.

Recruitment was brutal for me!
I had a full schedule (12) to philanthropy and then only 5 for siserhood.
I couldn't shake GPhi or AOII. I really regreted ranking DZ and Theta last after round one because Ive made good friends with girls of both houses. Also I did it because of listening to too many people.
I had never ever been so happy when my saw my schedule for pref!!!! I really didn't want go to pref and take someones spot if I knew I didn't want it.
PLEASE BE OPEN DURING THE FIRST ROUND! I know it is so long and hard and hot but you have to do it!! I knew I didn't like GPhi or AOPII during round 1 and I didn't give Theta or DZ a chance!
If yu are curious I went to 2 new row and 1 old for pref. I got my second choice and LOVE IT

For me it was AOPi and APhi.
The girls in AOPi were okay but just a little weird. The girls I spoke to were very pushy about all the "good" aspects of their house. Idk I just felt like they were trying too hard to get girls that they had no chance at.
The girls in APhi were also okay. They all seemed very personable but something just felt weird about their house. I feel like they were really pushing the girls to be as friendly as possible to each other and to the PNMs to kind of combat their reputation of having drama and being high maintenance and whatever.

AOPi!! I had nowhere close to a full schedule and I still was hoping and praying they would be off my schedule at the beginning of every round. The girls I talked to were so dull and could not hold a conversation. I actually know some sweet girls in AOPi now, but the girls who rushed me were horrible and I was so excited when they didn't invite me back for pref
