PBP should be tier 2 and DG should eirher ladt slot in tier 3 or in tier 4. IMHO

PBP belongs in whatever tier ZTA and ADPi are in.
Basically New Row Tier 1

To me, it is better to say it this way (no order in tiers):

Old Row Tier 1: AXO, PM, XO, KKG
Old Row Tier 2: AGD, DDD, KD

New Row Tier 1: PBP, ZTA, ADPi
New Row Tier 2: DG, APhi
New Row Tier 3: AOII, DZ, GPhi, KAT

For Upper Midwest (like Chicago, Minnesota), Western (WA, CO, CA) and Northeastern PNMs, New Row Tier 1 may be comparable or even preferable to Old Row Tier 2.

Just one opinion, of course.

So the main difference between Old Row 1 and Old Row 2 is that OR2 is very regional/Southern/In-state focused and has a tendency to leave northern/western OOS feeling a little left out? Then that would help me understand why NR1 might be a good choice for somebody trying to decide between OR2 and NR1.

Another way to think about it is that even a western/northern OOS that gets a bid to OR1 is likely to take it over either OR2 or NR1, but if somebody got both OR2 and NR1, they may have a tougher time deciding between "status" and "fit"?

The difference between Old Row 1 and Old Row 2 is campus reputation and who gets the top girls. Old Row 1 are generally the best houses on campus and then Old Row 2 and New Row 1 are pretty close to each other, but typically southern girls would pick Old Row 2 and far OOS girls might fit in better in New Row 1.

Tier 1: Old Row 1
Tier 2: Old Row 2 / New Row 1
Tier 3: New Row 2
Tier 4: New Row 3

Agree a lot with the post comparing OR 2 and NR 1 and deciding between status and fit, I was a non- southern OOS and chose status over fit, which I do both regret and reap the benefits at the same time. All in all it's all up to the PNM but I do think there's a lot of truth to what she said in that regards

I am northern OOS and at pref went NR1 over OR1.

Love my choice. Although there are girls in OR1 I really like.

A friend went OR2 over NR1 (from the midwest) and thinks she made a mistake.
