let's compare old row with new row

So much ranking with Old Row at top and New Row at bottom. I'm excited about recruitment in August so can you equate an Old Roww House with a New Row house?
It could help us PNMs immensely! I ask because I'm OOS and think I'll land in New Row!
For example AXO = which New Row house
KD = which New Row house

Some of them are harder to make equal.
Phi Mu=ZTA
AXO=ADPi
KKG=APhi
XO=Pi Phi
AGD=DG
DDD=Pi Phi?
KD=none really since they mainly focus on in state girls
Side note: before y'all start drama, I didn't put these in any order, I just did the houses as they came to mind so I did not "rank" them in any way.

I'm gonna give you the best answers I can but I'll probably just get attacked by old row. This site has gotten too mean even for innocent questions like this, but heres my opinion. THIS IS NOT A RANK PEOPLE, before yall freak out.
AXO, XO, DDD- ADPi, Pi Phi, theta
Decent grades, involved
KKG, KD- Aphi, ZTA, DZ, Gphi
Party girls (not a bad thing)
PM- Aphi, ZTA
Really goes for pretty (also not saying this negatively)
PM, XO, AXO- DG, Pi Phi, ADPi
Puts in lots of effort for homecoming, greek week, derby days
AGD- ADPi, DG, AOpi
Nice girls
Differences overall: new row is much less southern, some that I listed together still share a lot of different characteristics because of that, Old row is all in top 10 for grades, Adpi, theta, pi phi and aopi are in top 10 as well.
This definitely isn't perfect but I put each house where I felt they fit most.

Overall very accurate. I'd say doing it in clusters instead of a 1 to 1 comparison makes more sense and gives a better sense of what aspects the houses have in common

I think this is the best summary. PM focuses on grades, and while it's usually lumped with houses that focus on looks, I'm not sure that's fair.

This is such a cool thread and I think everyone responding so far has made great points. Obviously there is no one true answer.
I think houses like KD, AGD, and KKG are so unique in the type of girl they seek that you can't find an equivalent. A previous poster based their equivalents on what "stands out" about houses. Well, KD stands out to me in their lack of geographic diversity, AGD in their high concentration of religious girls, and KKG in their ability to recruit girls from certain wealthy neighborhoods across the south. You just can't find those things in new row.
However, it's easier to find a new row equivalent to houses like PM, AXO, XO, etc, because I think their "type" of girl is quicker to pin down. It's easier to find specific qualities that characterize them and also find those qualities in new row houses.

I actually think these have all been valid comparisons and might be a helpful way of looking at things for PNMs who aren't so stuck on the Old Row/ New Row thing, but want to find a house that aligns with what they want.

AXO is grades and involvement, so ADPi is a good match and maybe Theta?
XO is grades and involvement but more social than AXO, so Pi Phi is good match for them
AGD is grades and involvement with more focus on religious girls, and can't really think of a new row house like that. Maybe DG?
KD doesn't really stand out in any particular area, so hard to compare them, but maybe AOPi?
KKG is more about who your family is which kind of translates to how Zeta focuses on looks/style, so thinking them.
DDD is very laid back, and doesn't jump out in one or two specific areas, so kind of an AOPi/GPB hybrid?
This was harder than I thought it would be.
