How hard is it to get a bid to a fraternity when I'm from out of state, have no fraternal connections, but I'm a national merit finalist and have a 4.0?

No one cares about academics for fraternities. Frat rush has nothing to do with how sororities choose members.

You should put yourself out there,get letters from alumnae groups (check Facebook), meet actives, and focus on all of the frats not just a few

Sorry, I keep thinking of things..

Go to the IFC and reach out to the rush chairs. Tell them the exact things that they need to know. Name, Phone #, and when youll be down for Bama Bound. Don't make this long drawn out email of your dreams, goals, and aspirations.

Make sure you meet with them when youre down for Bama Bound. DO NOT wait until "Formal Rush"
