dg & adpi

by: A

The self ranking from these two houses is so painfully obvious...we get you're trying to be more popular houses but it's not a good look doing it on here and we all know DGs are those annoying try hards. Wherever you personally rank the three, the most popular new row houses on campus are zeta, alpha phi, and pi phi. End of story. Followed by ADPi and then I'd say there's a debate on who improved more: GPHI/DG or if AOPI really has "fallen" and it's just dg/adpi trying to tank their reputation via greekrank. Sad.

Thank you for caling out the OP. I think ADPi and DG are both phenomenal houses that have been working so hard and it shows! OP is def either ZTA, APhi or PBP. I'd take ADPi or DG over those three any day!

Sorority life is about sisterhood, involvement, grades and philanthropy. It's not about sleeping around and wearing rompers during recruitment. Lol

Not everyone ranks sororities the same way. Just like some PNM's would rank aphi or zeta above dg or adpi or vice versa during rush, some actives are going to rank dg or adpi above zeta and aphi in a ranking. We don't tell PNMs they are wrong during rush so why do we do it on here? Some people value looks and popularity more and some value intelligence and personality more. Neither is wrong it's all just opinion.

I'm really tired of seeing the assumption that every house that doesn't have a reputation at all on campus, or one that makes them about to not be "cool" for lack of better words, all instantly have "great" sisterhoods. And the ones that do, like: zta/aphi/pbp and old row houses like kappa/phi mu all have automatically have "bad" ones. You can look on their instagrams and see the different sisterhood events they have and such and all the swaps/date parties, and then the postings of their sisters that are accomplishing things on and off campus. Heck, you can even look at the girls individually instagrams and see them with big groups of girls in THEIR own sorority. You can pull this card anymore, DG/ADPi. Find a new strategy.

The funny thing is... DG, ADPi, ZTA, Pi Phi and APhi are all mid/lower middle tier. Y'all are just arguing over who's the least irrelevant.

DG had become so needy. DG doesn't come close to Adpi or ZTA. In fact I believe GPhi and arguably Theta impress me more! DG, you've gotten a big head. You need to stop!

Okay CHILL. both ADPi and DG are on the rise. Theyre still irrelevant of course but just because they have been placed higher in recent rankings does not mean that they are SELF RANKING. It just means people are noticing improvements in these houses. Calm down

also has ANYONE thought a lower GPA in DG could correspond to their large number of girls in the college of engineering, nursing, and other STEM majors. i'm an engineering major and so many dg's were in my chem, physics, and engineering classes. many sororities, like pi phi and kappa, have girls that are majoring in or and business (not saying those are easy in anyway), but it is easier for them to get higher GPA's than girls majoring in an area of STEM. all in all, getting an A in an engineering class is 10 times different than getting an A in communications 101. take that into consideration when looking at GPA'S, and I wish panhellenic would show us the number of each type of major so we can see who really works hard for their GPA.
