real sisterhoods

Here are the houses rumored to have poor sisterhoods:

A Greek life magazine last year said that Mississippi State's chi o and phi mu chapters had the best sisterhoods. Just saying that's what was stated by college recruiters in this magazine.

I think people assume the "face" houses have poor sisterhood and that the "lower tier" sororities have awesome ones. I hate the term lower tier, I am just using it to explain perceptions. I don't think anyone really knows until they are in the house themselves. So you have a friend in xyz and she complains all the time and so do her three friends that you know. What does that mean? It means you know 3 or 4 girls who feel that way... Why? Who knows? Unless you have met with a group of 20 plus girls to discuss sisterhood there is no way of knowing. Let's face it, the majority of people on here have an axe to grind. I don't, but I would guess about 75% do.

Looking from the outside in, you can't completely understand which chapters have the best sisterhoods. It's something that you have to experience for yourself. You can't tell from Greek Rank which houses have the girls who will pick you up from your dorm and drive you to McDonalds at midnight when you're crying over a boy. You can't tell which houses have girls that will smile and talk to any girl they see walking around campus wearing their same letters, even if they don't know them personally. My suggestion is to look around the house during each round and see how the girls interact with each other when they think no one is looking. If you talk to multiple girls during one round, see how they talk to each other. It's difficult to see from the outside, but always look for that genuine friendship that we all look for in sorority sisters.
