by: GuestTo stop all of the GPA questions, can everyone comment there GPA at the time of rush and which houses you had at pref? And if you were anything other than a freshman when you rushed, say so! That is all this post will be for, I think it will help incoming pnm's.

Let's be real. The only people who are willing to put it out there are the girls with high gpas. I am sure there are a lot of girls with lower gpas who prefed good houses. You don't need a 3.8 or above to get into a good house.

Except these dumb PNMs are coming on here with 2.8 GPAs and are sure no one will care. Basically, if you have below a 3.0 you don't have many or any options. If you're between a 3.0 and 3.4 your options will also be limited but better.

Does SAT affect anything? Like would is it possible a sorority might consider someone with a lower GPA (Still above 3.0) a little more if they have a really good SAT?

No, because a low GPA and high test scores make you look like a lazy underachiever.

Ignore this person. If you're from a high school we're not familiar with and you have an average GPA (3.3-3.8) and a high test score, we'll take a second look to see if your school just has a weird way of doing GPA. If you have like a sub 3.0 though, no SAT score can save you, sorry.
