Here it goes:
AXO: the one thing that they do that keeps them top on many lists, is that they tend to make all pnms feel welcome. Even if there isn't a chance. And they get the smartest of the connected Bama girls.
XO and KD: attract and want the same type of girls as AXO gets (Bama/southern, smart, charming) but are less interested in pretending you have a chance.
KKG: Focused on wealth and particularly country club, Mom's a volunteer and community fund raiser,
Brooks Brother kind of wealth. As a result, have more OOS (and northern OOS) than the above houses. And, although less socioeconomically diverse than the above, do end up with a broader range of "types" with respect to party habits, looks, OOS and grades.
DDD: Kind of an acceptable fall back for the girls who may not have gotten their favorite above.
Phi Mu: Compared to KKG want the more "obvious" wealth (or at least the appearance of such), pageant types with Moms that wear big diamonds and drive Eacalaes. . As a result focused on looks and draws more TX and FL girls.

While this is far better than assigning tiers to sororities, the fact is, nobody can know EVERY group well. There are exceptions in every single sorority, plus those subtle changes that happen when one class graduates and another comes in.
I'd take it all with a pound of salt.
(Y'all do know what that saying means, right? Salt is sometimes used as a laxative - thus the expression.)

I think what she meant is that AXO is notorious for making every girl think they are getting in prior to recruitment. There are a LOT of complaints after bid day about feeling "bid promised" by them and then getting a broken heart when they drop you.

Northern OOS here.
AXO, during recruitment, was always super sweet, but I was dropped before pref. FYI - grades could not have been the reasoning.
By comparison, believe KD and XO pretty much never were very welcoming. But didn't have rec letters at either, maybe that made a difference. Do like the girls I've gotten to know in both houses since.
Did get to pref with KKG and DDD as well as the house I picked.
I think the OP is pretty fair.

I'm not sure why you're grouping aopi gphi kao and dz. aopi had won the Witt cup twice in a row and has one of the highest retention rates out of all sororities on campus. Their new house is going to be the biggest on the row by square footage and they have a super hot pledge class thank you very much bye old row snob

Considering that A. Aopis lot is tiny and B. The university put a limit on how big the houses could be after GPhi and Tri Delt got their house plans and were both over 40,000 square feet that's just not true

Post #24 was NOT madde by an AOPi, just a wannabe pretender. AOPis are too panhellenic for that kind of post.
