by: ?The 2016 recruitment registration form actually says that uploading your transcript is optional, so if pnm's don't want sororities to see their GPA or whatever reason don't want to submit it, then why do they? Especially if they're worried it will effect their chances? Just curious lol

Fine, DON'T upload your transcript.
The university verifies grades for Panhellenic. If you're a PNM worried that your GPA will AFFECT your chances, congrats - it WILL. We will know your grades.
And if you choose not to upload a transcript, that will also AFFECT your chances.

We get your GPA whether you upload a transcript or not. The transcript can just show what classes you took like all AP's or maybe if your GPA was bad freshman year and good the other three years that would be taken into account. Personally I know my sorority doesn't utilize them as much as we used to, there are just way too many girls to be more thorough than looking at basic GPA
