Pi phi is not that hard to get a bid from. and switch gamma phi and DZ to walk ins. gamma phi may be doing much better but they still are filling out their pledge classes with anyone they can find. DZ is...DZ.
DG is not hard to get a bid from but by no means should be in the "walk ins" slot.

And i got prefs from 3 of "hard" ones. what is your point? does that make them walk ins too???
trust me. everyone is turning down PNMs. even the "walk ins". So it definitely isnt fair to categorize them as that.

Y'all are dumb. Different houses are hard for different girls to get into. If you're not particularly attractive but you've got the right zip code and money, a house like Kappa or KD can be a breeze, but places like Pi Phi and Phi Mu will drop you like a hot potato. If you're hot and from the north a house like ZTA and APhi will be easy, but XO, KKG, AGD, etc. will be harder for you to get into. It literally just depends on who you are.

define what you mean by "right zip code and money".. how would a sorority house know your wealth based on a walk-in?

-wealth - i was asked what my dad does and how much he makes at rush. they can get an idea by what you're wearing and how you act even. zip codes are on the resumes you turn in

I would rather be a Pi Phi one thousand times over being a Phi Mu. There's something to be said for personality and kindness, and Pi Phi is lightyears ahead of Phi Mu in those respects.

This is misleading. Pi Phi and Zeta are basically the same in terms of how hard it is to get a bid. Pi Phi goes for the more basic pnms and Zeta goes for the more (shall we say) spirited pnm. If you are cute enough but boring, you are more likely to be a target for pi phi than zeta. If you are cute enough but fun and into style and intstagram modeling, you are going to be more a focus for zeta. Alpha Phi is in the conversation for the pnms that Zeta wants and ADPi is the one that creeps in there to try to steal some from Pi Phi. When old row comes calling for any of these pnms, they usually opt for old row. Not always. But usually. It is part of the "buzz" that happens during recruitment. The old row are just seen as better gets. Nothing but truth.

My favorite and first choice was a new row house.
Don't think the old row pull is that strong for non south OOS.
Love my choice. No Ill will toward other houses

Exactly. Pi Phi and ADPi are sort of the grade snobs of new row. If you are really academic, but also kinda social, and are not Southern, this is a good direction for you. If you are really academic, but not as social and are not Southern, they might also work but you also may end up in a Theta or AOII. It all just depends.

Not a crazy list at all. Houses that prioritize a certain look or seek only particularly attractive girls can be hard to get into if you don't have the look or are not the kind of attractive they are looking for.

Oh, and looks count at every.single.house. Do not be fooled. It is just that not every house can be as choosy when it comes to looks. Every house wants the boys to think they have a "hot" or at least "cute" class. Again, don't be fooled.

Easy and hard is a matter of who you....
Can't deny tough depends....So the question is how hard would it be for me to get into a house that doesn't match my credentials
Low grades - AXO is impossible. And with good grades
Southern connections help too
Non connected southern - KD is going to be very hard. So is XO.
Not atttractive - Phi Mu and ZTA are very difficult -
Although different types. .
Not Christian - forget AGD
Not southern and connected nor OOS wealthy- KKG pretty tough
Not wealthy - PhiMu pretty hard.
You get the idea.....
This isn't meant to be hateful. . You can hate the above houses for their pull of certain types and hate the types they pull. And chide them for ignoring other characteristics. But it is what it is.

I disagree. Kappa Mu Delta didn't get a stellar pledge class last year, and the rumors about their hazing are everywhere. Remember the goats? I think Beta Gamma will get the top class.
