how it really is...fraternities and sororities
by: W.
I've been here for three years and as a member of what i have ranked as a middle tier fraternity i thought something at least remotely true should be put on this website. I'm not trying to say my rankings are 100% accurate, take them however you will but i tried to be unbiased. I just used everything i have seen, read, heard about, people i've met and people i've talked to, and just the overall impression i've gotten from every house. Coming from someone who is not Old Row, you'll still see a strong old row bias towards the top, this is because they are good houses and deserve that ranking. Every house has its good and bad, this is just an average, hopefully this can help someone trying to decide. Anyways, each tier is in random order, take them however you want, thanks.

#23by: Nationally Correct!!
Pi Phi and DG are usually top tier sororities. The sororities in the South that are nonexistant at the strong private and public universities are Phi Mu, AGD, AOPi. No one knows who they are. ADPi stuggles too at these schools, is bottom tier, but still has chapters at many top schools. Nationally - Theta, Kappa, DG, Tri Delt, Pi Phi are consistently the strongest and at all the top public and private schools.

They Released the top ten national sororities on 08/06/2012
The Top Ten were as follows:
1. ZTA
2. DG
3. Kappa
4. ADPi
5. Chi O
6. Pi Beta Phi
7. KD
8. DDD
9. AOPi
10.Alpha Phi
So whoever keeps stating that ADPi and AOPi struggle and that no one knows them doesn't know what they are talking about. BTW Theta did not make the top ten.
#28by: You are full of it
#30by: Not ZTA
Yeah ZTA is not strong nationally. ALOT of their chapters at strong schools with large greek systems have folded - USC, Pitt, SMU, Ohio State, Illinois (largest greek system in US), Syracruse, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Washington State, Colorado, Oklahoma, Univ. San Diego, West Virginia, Univ. Utah, New Mexico, Washington Univ. St. Louis. That is embarrassing!!!!!
