ddd reputation

I have a strong possibility of transferring to Alabama and I just wanted to know what my sorority's reputation is like here. Greek life at my current school is very low key, I'm from a Northern school. Tri Delta is considered top tier at my school, but the tier system doesn't really mean anything since Greek life is not a huge deal here. Will the transition to Alabama and it's Greek life be a total shock for me?

I am an Tri Delt alumni who transferred from a northern school as well. Be prepared for a whole different ball game, including heavily increased dues.

Im not a DDD but I think they're a great house here honestly! they're old row so a lot of alabama/southern girls but they're pretty chill and fun I think ( a lot of chill than other old row houses) but ya prob out 450 girls in the chapter and the dues are gonna be a lot (for any house). greek life is huge here so you are stepping into a whole different world. could be hard to make friends at first but they are nice girls so just stick with it!

Tridelt is most chill on old row. No doubt. Not close.

Well, let me take that back. Kappa is also chill, but not as much as Tridelt. After Tridelt and Kappa, the old row houses are all pretty judgmental.
