Why isn't Phi Gam ever abbreviated to PGD on the JNJ football t shirts??

Because they only use their actual Greek letters on certain designated things. I think there are 7 things that are allowed to have the letters PGD. That's why they use Phi Gam or FIJI for shirts and other stuff. It's a national thing for them.
