philanthropy rounds
by: PNMWhat kind of shorts do actives recommend for the philanthropy days? Are Lilly shorts still in or no?
#1by: Conservative and classic
Lilly shorts are perfectly ok and are worn. Same with JCrew and Vineyard Vines. Some girls wore Australian brands like C/Meo or Keepsake. What really matters is that they cover your butt, they are flattering, they don't show dirt or are too precious to handle the rain, and you can go to the bathroom in them without much trouble. Honestly, most girls don't wear those shorts again so don't go crazy expensive.

Speak for yourself, I re-wear my shorts all the time!
But yes, what this poster said is correct. Solid colors are the safest, especially if you're a bit on the larger side. Pattern shorts can be really iffy. They only look good on slender, tan girls. Try to get something in a thick, stiffer fabric. Lace shorts and thinner shorts wrinkle too easily and get that really awkward crotch V shape after you've been sitting for too long.
