tradition reputations

I know Alabama is very set on tradition so how long have the sororities have the same reputation as they do now? Like how Phi Mu is known as pretty classy rich girls or Alpha Chi is the smart good girls have they always had those types of girls for the past 10 20 years or do reputations change quicker?

Same since my grandmother was at Alabama!

Also, Phi Mu is not known as classy, rich girls. Lol. They're small town Alabama pageant girls.

Phi Mu has some rich girls, but so does every house that does formal. They've never drawn from the same social circles as other Old Row houses. Admitting them to Old Row was purely a political move designed to smooth over bad feelings brought about by what The Machine did to Minda Riley back in the day.

Phi Mu's are NOT known for being rich. That's why all those pledges dropped, because they couldn't afford the dues.
