can someone explain dg to me?

DG is just like every other new row house... they take in a lot of northern/western girls. DG is pretty involved, not a bad house, not the best though. they work a lot harder than a lot of old row houses who stay top tier just because of that label. DG has a handful of weird girls, but then again so does every house... they were also kicked off campus a while ago and just came back.

IMO DG has a disproportionate share of weird girls. They're just really odd. I'd rank them bottom tier and not top of bottom either.

They are defiantly on the rise! They have improved so much since they came back and are super involved and it shows. My freshman roommate is a DG and she's the sweetest person I know and I met so many cool DGs through her. I feel like they are underrated in my honest opinion but are definitely on the rise!

First word that comes to mind......annoying

They collect girls that come unprepared, without recs, etc, and that don't get noticed at better houses

Then the work like crazy to be "involved", and promote themselves as rising, Very self promoting.

A bit of a collective chip on their shoulder - as they believe they could have been somewhere else if the process was "fair" and trying to prove they are all that and them some.

If they would chill a little, I think they'd be a bit more likable.

They're sweet girls. Their house is relatively new to campus, so they try to be uber involved to help build their reputation. I'd rather be in a house like that than be in one that does absolutely nothing.

I like DG. Have met several of them and they all seem very sweet and smart. I think everyone commenting on this thread is being harsh. If you land there on bid day, you're at a fine house.

looks like some people are still bitter about them being more involved and winning greek week. also looks like they're very much in the running from taking the derby days crown too. if you're so scrambled for pnms that you think dg is going to take all of your girls with those two titles, maybe you should evaluate your own sorority. top tier sororities don't worry about the "bottom of the bottom" stealing their girls. sororities worry about people on the same level and above stealing their girls.

I'm not a DG but I would say considering they just came back to campus a few years ago , which is really hard to do here, they doing great. They aren't "top tier" yet but I would say they're def on the rise and have some really nice girls and their house is beautiful. def don't count these girls out when you rush
