gpa
by: pnmI'm a current pnm for the following year. I heard that there is a 3.0 requirement for rushing but i wasn't sure how true that was and if it would impact rushing or not? do all sororities abide by this rule? i had an issue with a class this year and it may deeply affect my gpa. if it were to be under the 3.0 mark, it would most likely be very very borderline.

You need to prepare yourself. After the first round you will have deep cuts -- plan for it. And unless you connect in other rounds more cuts. Be prepared to have an open and positive attitude toward any and all houses that invite you back. You can't listen to others that say neg things about any chapter.
As long as you have a good rep, can show leadership during H.S. organizations, present yourself well, and have recs -- not all chapters will cut for just below a 3.0 (2.9 something).
You can have a great experience in any Panhellenic sorority here if you get the opportunity.

Which sororities in particular are most known for cutting based in gpa? I mean in other aspects, I'm pretty good. Leadership wise I've planned my schools prom as well as been the co-chair and coordinator of our high school's version of a dance marathon. I have been apart of several clubs and events that show my leadership too. Would this be enough to help me get past the gpa??
