my real sister and my rush
by: Sister sister
I'll be attending Bama next year and my sister is already there, and in a house.
I am not sure if I want to join her house.
I have good grades, will have other recs, etc.
Will other houses drop me just because of my sister because she is in another house? \n\n\n\n\n

Honestly houses will know you're a legacy and SOME houses will not try to pursue you fully, seeing that you're a well rounded PNM they want, because of it. They won't necessarily drop you automatically just because you're a legacy to another house but they won't be as invested into you, especially if your sister is in a top house.

I'd like to get to pref with her house but would probably rank the house where I thought the other pnms seemed most compatible to me "top".
It would be great if it was her house , but seems my experience would be best where I liked the pledge class best Realize that may be hard to fully judge, but I can dream. Lol.
Hoping not to get "looked over" along the way because of the legacy. Want to do my own thing.

@Sister sister,
Please keep in mind that at many sororities, if you are a legacy and make it to their pref, you will be on their 1st bid list.
