no you don't know what you talking about. old row are the popular girls and guys from the highschools that have the $$$ and just are overall awesome. you can tell if someone's old row or not from just looking at them. Adpi AOPi Zta and Pi phi get the girls who came to bama and thought it would be cool if they rushed. same with new row fraturnities. Old row are the ones from the wealthiest zip codes in bama and surrounding areas with the exception of the cooler out of state people. Kids who have been around the greek system from age 12. The legacys are the old row. I know girls and guys also that got dropped by old row and transferred to ole miss or auburn the next week. old row is superior and if you are old row your obviously a big deal. grades and "brightness" don't matter. just about who you are and who your parents are.

I hope your high school offers you a remedial english course. Also, acting as if it is impressive for someone to have been around the greek system since the age of twelve is just pathetic.
Your small-mindedness will hold you back in college, if you get there.

FYI Alabama does not have the wealthiest people in the country....kind of the opposite. New Row Still gets more of the wealth from the better areas in the Country...and brighter and cuter girls. Alabama High Schools are average at the best nationally. Old Row despite what people think are really sub standard girls who have tried to convince everyone otherwise.

Alabama is not a rich state. But all old row girls can't be considered sub standard any more than new row girls can. There really are bright, cute and nice girls on both rows.

Terrible ranking, Pi Kapp is definitely not in the same tier as Sig Ep, KSig, and AKL, and Beta is arguably in that tier now.

That's true, the order of those past SAE, DKE, KA depends a lot on how much you care about things like old row vs. new row, but it's a pretty accurate top 10.

No possible way Phi Mu is #1 anymore. After this year they are somewhere between 5 and 7. Hope they can get it back. Pledge situation took them way down, and that was on top of the whole Sabin thing. Never been known for sisterhood, but at least they used to be pretty.

new row gets all the great out of state kids bringing up the academic standard who may very well be wealthier. Old row gets some rich kids from Alabama, but Alabama isn't terribly rich to begin with. So what if you are a legacy and have been recruited since junior high? I have seen so many Greek organizations that are sinking ships of boring and pretty average social shut-ins who still pretend they are top based on something someone else did 100+ years ago.
