I was rushed heavily in the spring and had a lot of social media attention before no contact. I'm also OOS. i was also a PNM that was contacted HEAVILY before and during recruitment from top old row houses. I had good in-state connections and dressed "correctly" my gpa was a 3.9 and i'm a pageant girl. I decided before rush that I wanted REAL girls with a genuine sisterhood. I saw right through the theatrics of rush. I knew it was a lifelong decision with only a week to decide. After first round I dropped
PM: Heavily rushed by them in spring, knew their reputation (and reality) of the fakeness in the house.
XO: bland and overrated but tbh I probably should've given them another chance
Aphi: I gave a damn about my grades
gphi: I felt uncomfortable and out of place in their house. I could smell their desperation.
I LOVED:
tri delt: actually cried during my conversation because the girl I was talking to really connected with me
pi phi: relatable, genuine, and straight forward
adpi: real sisterhood, involvement, and great door song
axo: their confidence really shined through

The houses I ranked last were:
Aphi- didn't know anyone and didn't have a rec so I knew they would probably cut me
ADPi - did not enjoy the girl I talked to. Pretty sure it was mutual
DDD- had a very snotty girl from my hometown so that turned me off
DG- nothing negative, just wasn't for me
Loved:
Kkg, agd, XO, KD, and Pi Phi (pledged one of these)
Liked:
My grandmother was a GPB and they were so sweet to me and made me feel very welcome.
DZ- so nice
AXO- very sweet girls
Rush wasn't as bad as I expected and I'm exactly where I should be

Loved: PiPhi, Chi O, AGD and ADPi
It all depends on which girls you talk to during rush. If a house knows they don't want you, they have their "lowest" members paired with you. The top girls are matched with top rushees. So if you feel like you don't "click" with a certain house, it's probably mutual and preplanned.

Didn't like:
Theta- Every girl I talked to was awkward
Dz- It seemed fake to me
Pi Phi- I wanted to love this house but the girl was very uninterested
DDD- I had good conversation, it was just boring
Liked:
Kd- I loved KD on iwt. The girls I talked to were hilarious and had the same extracurriculars as me
Axo- The girls were super sweet and cool
Phi mu- Girl I talked to was genuine
Kappa- The girls I talked to were really cool and nice. I was hotboxed but didn't feel uncomfortable
Zta- Really easy conversation, so much in common with the girls
Dg- Loved the girls I talked to
So-so:
Aphi- The girls I talked to weren't the "typical aphi" and were really nice, but conversation didn't stand out
Chi o- really nice girls but didn't click as well as others
Gphi/aopi- pleasently surprised wut he these houses. Great conversation but not for me
Agd- The girls I talked to were really sweet, just not for me
Adpi- Wasn't bad, didn't stand out either

1) APhi- girl was nice I just was not feeling the conversation
2) DDD- I thought I would love tri delt but the conversation was so uncomfortable and awkward/worst IWT visit for me
3) theta- the girl I was talking to asked me questions I had already answered. It was obvious she was not listening
4) gamma phi- I really wanted to like it but convo was awkward and my girl teared up at one point abt her house, which was weird for IWT and put me off

1. Aopi- didn't "click" with the girl, kinda strange interaction
2. DG- didn't seem like they were very interested in me?
3. Theta- the girls were so goofy and awkward, didn't fit in
4. DZ- So boring, I practically talked to myself the whole time because the girls would just nod and smile to everything I said? Never an actual response

Or maybe you just wanted a more genuine sisterhood instead of a group of people who were focused on achievement instead of sisterhood. Hey, some of us know girls in this house and know how unhappy some of them are.
