You're rude. You know nothing about a house unless you're actually a member... That's why all you PNMs on here need to take everything with a grain of salt. All the sororities swap with all the fraternities, all the sororities have date parties, and all the sororities have formals and other social events. Theta, like every other sorority here, swaps with top tier old row houses like DKE, bottom tier houses like Chi Phi, and basically every fraternity in between. And that's a fact. And it's funny you bring up "pan friends." Stop trying to hate on other sororities, try spreading some Pan love for once.

In all honesty, Theta is not a top tier sorority by conventional means. Theta is known for having a very strong sisterhood, great grades, and they do tend to take in more OOS girls. Just like every single house here, Theta has smart girls, pretty girls, wild girls, etc. Every house here is strong and offers something different.

If you're a PNM I advice you get off this site. There's a lot of hate and bitter from other sorority girls, fraternity guys, moms, alums, etc. Don't let what you see on this site cloud your mind before rush. Good luck!

Damn you're ignorant. Literally every single sorority swaps with all, or at least most, fraternities. Like that's not just my opinion, that's just how it is. There are so many fraternities on campus that sororities have the upper hand when it comes to planning swaps. The social chairs of sororities' and fraternities' set up swaps and literally all you do is text the social chair of another chapter and pick a date. Stop acting like the "top" tier fraternities are so exclusive. Bottom houses swap with top houses. Old row houses swap with new row houses. That's a fact.

Im not being rude. Im in one of those fraternities and guys would laugh when some of the lower sororities texted us asking to have swaps. Sorry, its rude but they did. They would rather not have a swap that week than swap with DG, Gphi, Theta. We are the ones paying for the party, they don't want to pay for a sorority they don't want there.

Yeah, no, I don't thinking there's a single sorority that even came close to swapping with a majority of the fraternities.

You won't be blackballed from fraternities necessarily, but I'm not going to sugar coat it. I'm not justifying the behavior, but it happens.

You won't be black listed from anything being a Theta, or being in any bottom tier/new row sorority for that matter. People on here put way too much thought into ranks. On a day to day basis, ranks and old row/new row status do not matter whatsoever. Girls are allowed into literally any fraternity party they want. It's not like someone's going to come up to you and kick you out just because you say you're affiliated with a certain sorority.

I'm not a Theta but coming from an active in a sorority that tends to be ranked low on this site, I can say that Ive never had any issues with being "blacklisted" or being turned away from certain guys just because I said I was affiliated with a certain sorority. There's a very small number of people (both guys and girls) that are snobby about ranks. The majority of people here don't care about ranks and old row/new row status because it honestly doesnt matter. I've heard Theta has a very strong sisterhood, so would it really matter what one drunk frat guy says about you if you have a house full of sisters supporting you.
