mono

Fyi... My roommate told me a few days ago she has mono and is going home for the rest of the semester. I've had what I thought was a cold for about 2 weeks. Nope mono. The worst part is you are most contagious in the month before you have any symptoms. I have a feeling this is going to sweep Bama and Tut like wild fire.

I had it in high school and so did half my squad. It was awful! Sorry girls but I really hope its just you 2.

Usually you are out of commission for a month to 6 weeks. I am going home for at least 3 weeks. My roommate however has an auto immune disease so yeah. Instead of falling desperately behind and risk getting extra sick, which could be life threatening. She made the right choice.

A couple girls on my floor have it too. It's horrible I had it in high school! Be prepared to miss a month or so of school. Someone should really sanitize the bathrooms better or everyone is going to get it in Tut
