by: PNMAs a PNM for this coming Fall, the sororities I have my eyes on are Alpha Chi Omega, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Phi Mu, Alpha Phi, Zeta Tau Alpha, Pi Beta Phi, Chi Omega, Kappa Delta, and Tri Delta. Of course during recruitment I'm keeping an open mind, not shutting the others out and yes I am going to ignore the "tiers" and the awful things said about some of the sororities on GR but as of now, those are the sororities that I can't wait to go to on open house day. I just thought I would share that because no matter what some of you say, especially about Alpha Phi, Phi Mu, and ZTA... I really hope I end up in one of their houses. I love their philanthropies, what they stand for, and they seem like genuine girls that I would love to be friends with!! And based off the hate they get, kinda sounds like some of you wish you were in them too honestly lol

Honey, please, stop. I'm really hoping you're genuinely a PNM and not an active from one of those houses. In all honesty, you sound like a brat. "Based off the hate they get kinda sounds like some of you wish you were in them" - like what kind of PNM says that? Every single house here at UA is great, and I mean that literally. UA has one of the strongest Greek life communities in the nation, every house has to be really, really good to still have their chapters here. Get off your high horse and come back down to reality...You say you're ignoring tiers yet you listed almost all the old row houses and some of the "better" new row houses. This post just seems so fake. "I love their philanthropies, what they stand for" - so what happened to the other houses you didn't list? You didn't like their philanthropies? And "they seem like genuine girls that I would love to be friends with" - who's "they?" How do they seem genuine if you don't even know them...

The OP wasn't saying the other houses didn't, she was just saying POSITIVE stuff about those houses and that she likes them and the things about them despite all the annoying hate you guys are spouting out. But of course you guys jump on to say how great you guys actually are and attack her. While simultaneously attacking the other houses. And you wonder why PNMs aren't interested in you? When will you guys learn? Lol you're just hurting yourselves.

People don't like these houses specifically because they have some of the prettiest girls. This site feeds on immature drama. The number one thing that immature, insecure girls don't like is a girl that's prettier than them.

Why shouldn't a person say such a thing?
Good looking girls who have dealt with sh!! their entire life from envious girls get it.
I have a very attractive friend. Naturally beautiful with little to no make up. Tall. Could be a model. I have seen her walk into a restaurant and just get hateful glares - from strangers.
She also happens to be a sweet and very nice girl. But she has dealt with such "instant hate" for a long time as well as hate from people who won't let it go.
If OP had ever gotten such a glare, she gets it. Her post is right on. And at PM, ZTA and APhi, she may be spared that hate for no reason - at least from her sisters \n\n\n\n\n

It just seems strange for a pnm to target her favorite houses before she ever goes through rush. This time last year I wasn't proclaiming my desire for any house in particular. Neither were most girls. It's just silly, immature and smacks of an active who needs more attention and loves drama! Hope this thread of posts can end now!

Actually most girls are doing the same thing... hints to all of the dropping that happens when girls get dropped by ONE house they wanted, or crying on bid day, etc... If u ask me this girl is naming plenty of good houses she likes SO FAR and she even said that she isn't shutting the others out lol

I don't think #3 was saying those houses are bad, the point here is that ALL the houses here stand for good philanthropies and good sisterhoods and that you shouldn't go into rush with a preconceived notion or high hope of one house over the other
