phi mu
by: hidoes phi mu have a type? like AXO is smart girls with good grades, KD is a lot girls with money, KKG are party girls. ( i know not every girl is this way, but it is the general "type" for that sorority)

Every house has a "type," though not every single girl in each sorority may fall fall under that type. PM recruits heavy based on looks. They're known for having lots of very pretty and very wealthy girls. PM is the girl in high school who you either loved or hated, she came from a good family, extremely wealthy, stylish, and socially outgoing, everyone knew her. You won't get a bid from PM unless they know you have serious money.

All this talk about money makes me want specific numbers-
How much is enough to consider someone wealthy ??
Old money - estate money
Or
If mom and dad can clear at least $500,000 a year??
Is that rich enough?
And it is something to consider if you think a PNM will not be able to afford being in her sorority for very long. Being in a sorority is very expensive and money is essential
#4by: My two cents
Phi Mu has its fair share of pretty girls but truthfully very focused on looks, image and money and I'd like to see more focus on sisterhood and philanthropy and that's what makes a sorority strong. Phi Mu is quite visible on campus but not necessarily for all the right reasons. I don't dislike them but be very cautious about joining a sorority that places so much emphasis on the wrong things....unless that's who you are. Make sense?

How would they know if you did or didn't have money? I mean I feel like people that have to share how much money they have, really don't have that much and it's tacky so that's why I'm curious how they would find out unless you didn't tell them yourself?
