sophomore transfer rushing

So I currently am a freshman at a different University and I rushed here but due to a low high school GPA I did not get a bid. My GPA now is a 3.2 , I really want to transfer to alabama because I have absolutely fallen in love with the atmosphere there while attending a football game! I would want to rush but what are my chances of getting a bid being a sophomore, and have already rushed somewhere else before? I do not know anyone in any of the houses there either!

You'll definitely get a bid from somewhere, but be prepared to get dropped from a few "top" houses, unless you're evidently wealthy and extremely pretty.

Don't be afraid. It's totally possible! Your GPA is just fine. If you do have any connections at all to any of the sororities, tell them that you're coming and your rushing.

I rushed as a soph and had a full schedule everyday! I think you'll be fine.

Hello,

I rushed as a sophomore as well. I didn't have any recommendations coming in and only got dropped from one house that I picked during sisterhood round. Therefore, don't worry. It will probably be more competitive this, so get recs. Good luck. ❣
