gpa requirments

I'm currently a senior and I'm looking to go to ole miss next fall. I plan to join a sorority, but I'm nervous about my grades I come from a very rigorous high school, I have a 3.1 currently. freshman and sophomore year I screwed myself over, but junior I really improved and started to get my grades up (2nd semester I had 4.0). I know sororities look a lot into your grades. Can someone please give me their honest opinion on weather id get a bid or not?

If you're going to Ole Miss, you should ask on that board.
At UA, a 3.1 is OK. It will knock you out of two or three sororities, which have higher grade requirements. Do you have something else? Officer positions, scholarships, beauty titles, activities? Are you a legacy of a very active alumna? Any of that might put you over.
You could also ask your rec writers to emphasize the rigor of your high school and how a 3.1 there might be the equivalent of a 3.8 elsewhere.
Bottom line, though - each campus has its own variables, so ask on that board.
