i know this is props a reallllly dumb question but where do i get recs from... i have no clue what I'm doing obviously and idk anyone in the system

Recs are written for you by alumna of each house. You need to ask your friends if their moms were in a sorority, and if it's one we have at Alabama, ask if they'all write a rec for you. Ask your neighbors, teachers, mom's friends, etc. You'll never see the rec though. You'll send them your resume with your GPA, extracurricular activities, volunteering, etc and they fill out the rec using that info. A lot of houses will drop you if you don't have at least one rec, so try hard to find someone from every house!
