aphi video was disgusting

I'm planning to rush in the fall as I have been accepted as a freshman 2017. I've been looking at recruitment videos. I love XO, Pi Phi, GPhi to name a few. I saw the APhi video and was so turned off. The girls seemed to flaunt their stuff and it left me feeling like I don't want to rush this house but I have to? Right? Do we have to rush all of them?

Everyone talks about how pretty they are constantly on this site but to me they don't look "pretty", wholesome or attractive. It was a complete turnoff!


Is this what belonging to a sorority is really like?

Their recruitment video was THEIR way to show off THEIR sorority. Who cares if you thought it was distasteful? The sisters of Alpha Phi I'm sure worked REALLY hard on that video... ok you don't like how they showed their sorority off. No need to bash their entire work and sorority for it? You probably wouldn't get invited back to their house anyway.

Sorry about you being a KD double legacy. I hope the other houses don't just assume you want KD and drop you. Let them know up front you're very open minded, or you'll get stuck with KD.

If you were educated, and open minded, you would likey realize there are people like that in the world.

Seriously though, if you don't let the other houses know you're open to not going KD, being a double legacy, you'all get dropped everywhere else and you'll be stuck with KD.

KD is in a major slide. Unless you are totally drunk on the KD koolaid, you very well might not like them. You can't evaluate a sorority based on their recruitment video! You show how immature you are, hope you grow up some this year. Also realize KD may wind up cutting you, it happens, even to double legacies.

KD's stock has plummeted the past 4-5 years. They're stuck in a downward spiral with no end in site. Top old row is XO, KKG and AXO. Top new row is PBP and ZTA. Might want to check those out and not mention the KD legacy thing on the recs you have alumna of other chapters write for you.

If you didn't like alpha phi video you won't like zta one very much the same at least the 2015 one jumping around in swimsuits that said don't judge a sorority by that and who's to say either one won't drop you kd may lots of legacies get dropped
