Different houses attract different types, here is how the types line up and trickle down during rush.
AXO, XO, (PhiMu), KKG, DDD, KD (for the preppy southern girls)
PhiMu, ZTA, APhi ( for the beauties)
PiPhi, AGD, ADP, GPhi, DG (for the middles)
AOP, DZ, Theta ( for the rest).
PhiMu is a bit of a hybrid (listed twice). By pref and bid they compete and get the better looking of the Southern girl cross rushes. In early rounds there may more ZTA and some APhi cross interest, but that wanes by pref.
PiPhi and Zeta get some oos cross rushing as well. The better looking (and Crimsonettes and dance team) tend to go ZTA, and the more involved otherwise tend toward PiPhi.

You act like they dress like that to go to class, LOL. They put on a show and entertain many during football games. And, attract many cameras and attention.
If that isn't your thing, and you don't like it, transfer forms are available on line. You can attend plenty of schools without a million dollar band.
