connections?

What does everyone mean by having connections? Do you have to have these "connections" to get into certain sororities? Sorry if this is dumb I'm an upcoming freshman!!

Going to school with a prominent active, being family friends with an involved alumni from that chapter, playing sports or going to camp with actives. Pretty self explanatory.

With 165 new PNMS connection isn't necessarily all about close ties to the house and its alumni.

"Connections" is a polite way to say wealth, with a measure of "good taste".

....and before everyone freaks out, this doesn't mean that your parents have to be "billionaires". In general, Business owners, Vice Presidents, , doctors, lawyers and other professionals will do.

Recommendations letters will be necessary as well, and these don't have to be from Bama alumni.
