Was there every a time in the past decade or two where the top houses here (such as AXO, PM, XO, KKG, etc) weren't top? And vice versa.. Where there every times where bottom houses here (such as KAO, DZ, GPB, etc) were significantly higher ranked than they are now?? Honestly just curious.

I'll admit, I'm too old to be on this site, but while I was there in the late 90s/early 2000s, rankings were similar to what y'all say they are today:

Old Row top: XO, KKG
Old Row mid: AXO, PM, DDD
Old Row bottom: KD, AGD

New Row top: PBP, ZTA
New Row mid: ADPi, AOP
New Row bottom: DZ, KAT, GPB

We didn't have DG or AP.

Rankings may slightly change year to year, but a bottom tier will never be a top tier and vice versa. These tiers are the same they were when my mom went to Bama back in the 60s/70s. Once a top house, always a top house. Once a bottom, always a bottom.

only difference now is AOPi has moved down and Gamma Phi has moved up.DG is solid new row middle and Alpha Phi new row bottom.

Zeta and Pi Phi are better than KD. Swap those. KD bombed rush the past few years. Heard the machine wants to boot them out of old row.

Is is true that AXO and Phi Mu were invited to join Old Row later than the others? I saw an old post on GC from someone claiming Phi Mu wasn't invited until 2000.

I think top can shift to mid and bottom can shift to mid but I agree a top house is not likely to move two tiers.
