by: DrewThis weekend I noticed some of the girls in houses that are considered lower and was amazed at how pretty and personable they were. Y'all are crazy if you don't realize that the lower houses are not low at all anymore.

But you have no idea what their GPAs and reputations were before they got here. Top houses weed out bad grades and questionable reputations, so there will be tons of pretty girls in lower houses, they just won't be the caliber of the girls in top houses.

Not so fast. Kappa and KD are not at the level where they have the grades or quality in looks.

Agree about KD and Kappa not having grades and looks and I think that's why a lot of people don't consider them top houses.

It's weird but I noticed the same thing. From a guys perspective some of the prettiest and smartest girls I've met this year are in lower tier sororities. Can't figure it out other than tiers have no real meaning other than to feed the egos of the high tier girls.

@Pretty but QR: I noticed that #5 Agree said "prettiest and smartest," which would cancel out your argument that they aren't smart. And as for QR, the only way actives know who is QR is because of their hometown groups. If a girl is from oos, they're not going to know unless she's really awful on a national stage. Just because you don't know her grandmother doesn't mean she's QR. SMH.
Fact: Lower houses have more oos girls
Fact: Oos girls are harder to vet
Fact: Top tier sororities often exclude oos girls in favor of Alabama girls because they don't already know the oos girls
Fact: Oos girls are often as cute or cuter than Alabama girls
Fact: Sometimes the oos girls turn out to be superior to the girls in the top tier houses
Fact: No one wants to admit the above facts

I am from Birmingham otm and know three for sure qr girls from pc16. One went Tridelt, one went KD and one went Agd. The Tridelt was the big shocker. They had to know, too. Everyone knows. So stop the crap about these supposed super choosy houses. It's a crock.

Do ya really think it's a mom who's posting? Let me guess...a Mtn Brook mom??? It's funny that folks say this about the moms being involved. Too weird. Are they really? They're causing a riff. Truth is the pretty and smart ladies who I've met this year are generally oos. Just my type of ladies! These AL gals take this stuff way too seriously. Isn't Greek life supposed to be fun?

And vice versa. The average/not great looking ones are the ones who are always in the library, come from good families, etc. Slipped to bottom tier for looks and lack of connections
