by: ProudCan I just throw some Pan-Love to all the new houses - every time I walk by them I feel so proud to be part of the best Greek life in the country. Can't wait to see the finished ZTA house as well. Looks like it's going to be a beauty. Well done Bama, well done.

What will they do with the old Alpha Gam and ADPi houses once all of the construction is done and swing houses aren't needed anymore? Think they'll let two start up sororities have them?

Sigma Delta Tau could take one, and a new (or returned) sorority take the other.

It would be cool if SDT national and the chapter alumnae could invest in a complete renovation of one of the swing houses -- kind of like how Chi O renovated and expanded instead of tearing down.

AXD will never, ever return. They had three chances and people were hateful to them.
DPhiE would have a better chance of being accepted.

Maybe SDT can take back their old house at the corner of Colonial and Bryant.
AZD caused their own downfall, their national made no effort to assist them in changing the downward decline they were on. It was their last year on campus when SK and DG came on-board and you could see the difference the respective nationals made in efforts.

The old SDT house is gone -- they sold it to Alpha Phi and then it was torn down to make way for APhi's new house.
AXiD closed in 1988, same year that Sigma Kappa came back and Gamma Phi colonized. DG closed in 1978 and didn't come back until five years ago.

The Alpha Phi house is not on the lot of the old SDT house, it is down the street from it.
Sorry, I confused myself on Gamma Phi and DG.

If we had sorority dorms like Auburn, we wouldn't have the biggest and best Greek system! Also, their football team looks atrocious this year. Bama wins all around!
