kd: what is this "still on first" business

Why do they say that? What does it mean? Is it because they got to keep their original lot and didn't have to move like DDD and AGD? Does that really matter? It's just a lot. Hoping there's a deeper meaning behind it, because otherwise that's just sad if your bid day tagline references a plot of land.

I was wondering the same thing. Are they trying to say they've all only made it to first base making out? "Still on first" bid list? Cause that's not the truth. It's a silly slogan because either way you look at it, it doesn't make since.

"first circle" would technically be kd adpi and I think agd? Those were the "first 3" on campus.

First three sororities = KD, ADPi, and ZTA

First Circle = KD, DDD, Alpha Gam, the first three sororities to build on Bama's original sorority row. "Still on First" means the KD house is still on their original lot.

Actually the sorority that is now Adpi was first. It was a local sorority and then affiliated with Adpi. Look at the sign in front of the Adpi house. KD was second and then zta I think. Two of the three oldest are "new" row. Go figure.

I think they should change the sign to say "still on third" cause that's the page of their bid list most of their pledges came from. Their sign/slogan is very petty against DDD and AGD and if I were a pledge there, I would hope for a more welcoming banner on my first day as a member.

KD has a nice house but I personally wasn't that impressed by them and the girls from my group who went there are nothing special.

I think they are asserting that they are still the best sorority, if they ever were. If you have to tell people how great you are, well you aren't so great. They aren't awful, just mediocre at this point.
