Theta is known for staying out of drama, dancing to the beat of their own drum, and just being who they are with their sisters. With that being said, there are hundreds of girls in each house. There are party girls, there are girls who don't party, there are nerdy girls, there are girls there whose main goal in life is to find a husband. You should feel lucky to have "thought Theta."

Theta's don't follow the crowd, so they don't get caught up in high school type rankings. They are the kind of girls that typically go on to be highly successful in life

No one seems to be being honest... Theta kinda isn't that great. They have a bad rep and are known for having girls with not cute faces. If you're a new member just try to make the best of the situation and make friends

Actually, though not a theta, our sorority is near by, so I saw them on a bid day. It's impossible to tell their girls from any sorority on campus, there are lots of attractive Theta's, some average, a few not so cute, some skinny, some chubby! Every house, yes every one, has this mix. Rush is about more than looks, I know that concept is shocking to you. Theta has some great grades and girls who are very involved on this campus. I hope you are a freshman to be so immature and silly, hope you grow out of your small- minded mindset.

First, I am not a Theta, but I was a member of another sorority at Alabama and am a recent grad. Our Greek system is so strong that I truly believe there is no bad chapter here. Theta has been here since the 60s, and I have several friends who are Thetas. They have active social lives, and I think most people could be happy there. If you are a new pledge, please stick it out there. You will find some wonderful friends in your chapter, and you will be glad you decided to stay.

Be proud to be a theta. They are very well thought of nationally, and are respected by people on this campus. Just not the ones who go on GR acting the fool.
