this was such an interesting year with new houses, SO many pnms, and tons of OOS. it's really interesting to see what the OOS girls are more attracted to and it shows. there were girls i saw that were being rushed by agd and alpha phi, zeta and axo, kappa and pm, gpb and adpi, everyone was competing with everyone it wasn't just kappa/kd/dd competing and axo/pm/xo competing. girls could have went anywhere, these oos girls do not care about old row/new row, traditions, ranks, tent talk reps!
kappa, xo did the best on old row followed by axo, pm, ddd.
kd seemed to get their instate girls but oos, eh. not a lot of buzz.
aphi really came to compete and pbp still did great.
aphi and pbp, most impressive on new row.
zta kind of was the same which is good.
gamma phi most impressive on "bottom half" of new row.
dz did surprisingly well.
theta and aopi...in desperate need of change.
dg and adpi stayed somewhat consistent but i think gpb really competed with them.
i would say new ranks would be:
old row:
axo, kappa, xo
pm, ddd, kd
agd
new row:
aphi, zta, pbp
adpi, dz, gpb
dg
aopi, theta
combined:
axo/kappa/xo
ddd/pm
zta/aphi/kd/pbp
agd/adpi
dz/dg/gpb
aopi/kat

The school is recruiting very talented and attractive girls from out of state, that during rush are going to evaluate houses on things other than the reputation of the girls from their high school and community that are members
As a result, new row and what some rate as "lower" houses here, end up being full of talented, smart, beautiful and fun girls.
Think it is great for the overall vibrancy and quality of all the houses.
There will be wonderful houses for the Alabama girls to find their friends and peers as well as wonderful places for the out of state girls to find community and sisterhood.
Both are important.
Hope y'all can get along.

A Phi and Zeta got girls that were dropped by all the old row and most of the new row.

And old row houses like KD and phi Mu Tridelt and kappa got girls dropped by aphi zeta and pbp. Do you have a point?

The Zeta and A Phi girls you guys are slobbering over were the ones dropped by the upper houses for QR reasons. But if looks are all you're interested in, GO ZTA! GO AP!

It does seem like Oos girls go through recruitment with no influence from high schools, hometown and therefore feel more comfortable in new row...much the same way that old row recruits AL gals. But so what! It's normal!
Fact is all houses seem to have done well! Even the lowest tier pulled great PCs. I think Bama is rich with pretty girls!and it really shows this year! Lucky for us!

Really? Relevant? I think the discussions on this board indicate who is relevant or not. Look around. About half is old row and half is new row. Who defines relevance? Alabama highschoolers?
