should i drop
by: SadPNMI really don't like the house I pledged, girls were crying in the house and on the lawn saying they didn't want to be there. When actives tried to start a chant no one from the new class joined in. Everyone seems unhappy and wants to drop. Should I drop? If I drop do I stand a chance at getting into any sorority especially the one where I felt at home with through this entire week. Thank you!
#2by: Yup
In this case....drop. Go gdi. Almost 1000 girls didnt get bids. Same ea. year. So there's a huge number of nice, just as fun , non-Greek girls walking around campus....Girls who arent spending gobs of $ on a sorority they hate and people look down on. Drop. You'll be richer for it....literally. You'll be fine.
#4by: Go shopping
Drop and take the $ you would've spent on your yucky sorority and do some serious retail therapy. Mountain Brook is close and has some awesome shopping ...or hit the net and do damage online. And hit the bars with your fellow gdis....drink up.....youve now got $4000 plus extra dollars this semester not going Greek and having to pay for a sorority that sucks.

I asked myself this when I pledged and honestly I can say I'm glad I stuck to it. I realllly love my house. However, I know of girls who dropped re-rushed this year and got into sororities. A lot of people say that this once cut rule is a thing, but I know of multiple new/old row houses that don't do it. I would say try it out and if by initiation time you aren't feeling it drop out and rerush.
#10by: yes
you should drop if you sincerely don't like the house and haven't met any girls you have clicked with yet. you could COB in the spring if you make connections with girls in the house you want, but there's no guarantee they will do spring rush. but if you really don't like the house and don't think even if you make an effort to try that you will ever like it, you should drop.
