People will respond negatively just to try to get you to join their house instead. if you like them, GO FOR IT. I know several of them and honestly their sisterhood is great. They've worked really hard in a really short amount of time being on campus and it's threatening to other houses, hence the negative opinions. You'll find all sorts of girls in DG, just like with the other houses. But if you are comfortable and happy there then that feeling will only grow after you pledge. So go for it. This is advice for any PNM regarding any house.

I'm legitimately in another sorority but lost a pledge sister because she never felt at home in our house and dropped. I'd rather get girls in my sorority that want to be there, and I'll encourage any PNM to go where she wants, even if it's another house! I'm sure many of these girls are PNM. No need to try to slight another house this far in game. YOU should be better than that.
