topics of conversation to avoid
by: FreshmanWhat are some topics of conversation to avoid during rush? I know the obvious ones like boys, booze, religion, politics, etc but is there anything random that we may not be thinking about? Or like specific topics to avoid at specific houses? Thank you!

Remember us actives are talking to girls during every party, sometimes multiple girls. Try to make yourself stick out! Tell a funny story that will make you unique. At the very least be relatable. I remember talking about Gilmore Girls and Chick Fil A at one house on open house round and and I still remember it now three years later. We had a relaxed conversation that felt like we were friends. For the love of God, don't talk about what floor of Tut you live on or how it snows/hurricanes/is really hot at home. Even if a girl asks about this, try to turn it around into a funny story that she will remember. Just be you and talk to the active like she's your friend!
