typical schedule

I would say some of the heaviest cute are IWT and philanthropy. IWT girls are dropped for grades, no rec, really bad rep, etc. On philanthropy most of the girls that houses have been courtesy rushing (y'all were kinda friends in HS but not a good fit, weird family friend, girls we know but don't necessarily see as a good fit for our house). I know a lot of girls from my rho chi did not have full schedules. most were cut from 4-5 houses on IWT. But then again the girls that were cut knew no actives, or admitted they had low GPA, or said "yeah a girl in this house HATES me". If you're the whole package and you don't know anyone you probably will only be cut by two houses or so. I know when I am rushing a girl for me to vote yes on her she has to have 2 out of the 3 qualities: is she funny/has a good personality, is she pretty, or is she very smart/a go getter. so If a girl is funny and smart that is an obvious yes,if a girl is pretty and has a great personality then awesome I will totally vote yes, or if a girl is pretty and smart then she's also a yes! And of course all of that helps if you have connections to in house girls and the girls like you.

THe majority of girls in my rho chi that had dramatic cuts (i.e. only had like 4 or 5 houses left after ice water tea cuts) were in that position because of grades. If you have a 2.5 GPA with no valid reason (for example you had a life-threatening illness in high school), you can only expect to be cut from a lot, if not most or all of the houses. There's 2,800 PNMS, and obviously we want the girls that are going to add the most to our houses! Even still, I know plenty of girls with under a 3.0 GPA that still got bids to houses.

If you are connected, you can totally get a bid with a lower GPA. Same if you are really pretty. Girl from my hs really pretty and connected but a 2.8 got a bid from one of the more looks oriented sororities.
